Combined Charities Incorporated – Executive Officer

  • Led writing and execution of 2008, 2011 & 2014 Strategic Plans, increasing profits by 52% when implementing new marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Conceived and convened annual trade show of supplying companies, with 100% supplier attendance and 75% member attendance
  • Redesigned financial reporting mechanisms, responsible for overall financials of the company, including MYOB, Profit/Loss, budget analysis and formation
  • Reported to board and coordinated timings and locations of regular board meetings, leading the strategic direction of the organisation
  • Conducted training for over 30 employees, inducting them into codes of conduct, WH&S, manual handling, rights and responsibilities of clients and employees and money handling

Westminster School – Facilities and Events Manager

  • Operated Sports, Swimming and Performing Arts Centre to meet budgets set by school leadership, creating $500,000 turnover.
  • Worked with groups hiring conference, performance, accommodation and sports facilities to coordinate large and small scale group bookings, taking a lead role in event management and supervision of events such as:
    • National Masters Football Carnival: 1500 attendees and participants over 6 days
    • National Christadelphian Conference: 1000 participants over 7 days
    • National Aerobics Championships: 1000 participants over 3 days
    • Australian PE and Outdoor Education Teacher’s Conference: 200 participants

Mitcham Girls High School – Chair, Governing Council

  • Convened and led monthly meetings of school stakeholders: elected council, school administration, parents, teachers, local and state government representatives
  • Successfully designed proposals to lobby state and federal governments to redevelop school facilities
  • Canvassed submissions from school stakeholders (parents, staff and teachers) and curated proposal to achieve accreditation of the Council of International Schools, responding to goals of interested parties

Wool & Ewe Clothing Stores – Proprietor

  • Conducted market research for and established two concept stores for Australian made fine wool and natural fibre clothing
  • Designed and worked with contractors to fit out stores in keeping with company’s image
